Dunedin Teachers Conference

6 April 2011

Last Friday I was invited to be a presenter and workshop leader at the Dunedin Teachers Conference in Gore. Over 180 teachers from the various Catholic primary schools of the Dunedin Diocese were present. Fr Neil Darragh from Auckland was the key note speaker on the theme of 'Our place in the Church of the future in Aotearoa/NZ'. I shared a number of my songs during a plenary session in the afternoon and ran two workshops on my latest material entitled 'Songs from a journey of renewal'-Come and sing your hearts out in more ways than one.  I received some wonderful Dunedin and Southland hospitality. Special thanks to Anne Kennedy and her team for the invitation to the conference.

Fr Niusili and I at the conference. Niusili is presently on loan from Samoa in the parish of Winton. Are those my CDs you are holding Niusili?
